My husband and I mark our two year wedding anniversary today and to celebrate, we spent the past weekend in Manhattan. The highlight of the trip was not the shopping, but a sweet, sweet dinner at a steakhouse. The restaurant in question was Porterhouse New York, located at the Time-Warner building (aka Shops at Columbus Circle). For the meal, I wore a dress I bought at a Montreal boutique last year, paired with pumps I got from a massive Talbots sale (yes, I admit it, I bought something from Talbots). The shoes, believe it or not, fit very well – and they’re size 5s! I’ll have more on these shoes in a future post.
- Dress: Traffic People, XS
- Shoes: Talbots, size 5
- Bag: Rebecca Minkoff

As for the dinner? DELICIOUS! Cooked to perfection (medium for me) and great plain or with a sauce (we ordered both barbecue and bourbon peppercorn), the steak I had (above) was delicious. The sides were excellent as well and well worth it.
Note: Apologies for the blurry outfit and steak pics. The camera I used for those pics is older and doesn’t have the best sensor. To make up for it, I took another picture of the dress, shoes and bag (above).
