This past Saturday, my husband took me to dinner at Scarpetta at Toronto’s Thompson Hotel (you can read my review of the restaurant over at DelectablyChic!). I wore my blue Greta Constantine dress once again (the dress has had a lot of wear over the past few months, ranging from weddings to a recent Greta Constantine event and now, my birthday), though this time, I wore it a bit differently. I have mostly worn my dress like this (picture taken before going to the Greta Constantine Midsummer Affair on August 23rd):
- Dress: Greta Constantine (purchased at sample sale)
- Belt from a BCBG dress
- Shoes: Talbots, size 5
But for my birthday, the front became the back, therefore wearing it like this:
- Dress, belt and shoes as above
- Bag: Prada
I like wearing it both ways, though the second is a bit more casual and wearing a camisole is suggested to prevent any “wardrobe malfunctions.” Also, when you have a shorter neck like me, the second look works better when you are wearing your hair down.
Thoughts?
