Petite Fashion Challenge 22: Winter Shopping

This month’s challenge, hosted by A Preponderence of Fashion, asks:

The weather outside is frightful, but indoor shopping is warm and delightful. So, whether you have wind, rain, or snow, show me your clothes when shopping for friends or foes!

Please keep in mind that you should prepare for the cold without looking like Joey from Friends in that episode (see pic below) where he wore all of Chandler’s clothes. And yes, extra cool points will be granted for pictures taken while shopping!

  • Coat with hood: Tonino Lamborghini (yes, THAT Lamborghini), gift from family
  • Gloves: Kate Spade Tech Bow Gloves (blue sold out)
  • Bag: Prada Saffiano Lux in black
  • Boots: Cole Haan
  • Blazer under the coat: Femme de Carriere
  • Shirt: Banana Republic (from fall)
  • Jeans: Mavi

I decided to shoot my PFC photo on Boxing Day – the day after Christmas and the day that Canadians traditionally go out to shop for bargains (similar to Americans and Black Friday).  I actually didn’t do any shopping that day (except for food and a couple of things online), but went out to see Les Misérables instead (read the full review here).  The picture was taken after the movie, closer to my home (it would have been impossible to take pictures anywhere in the vicinity of the theatre since it was so packed!

(Apologies for the messy hair!)

  • Happy Boxing Day!!

  • Eliz

definitelythe type of outfit I wear for a cold shopping day! Great jacket..looks warm!

I still need to see Les Mis! Anyway, thanks so much for joining my challenge. I am so sorry for being so late in checking out the entries, I was ridiculously busy but I’m glad I checked yours out. The gloves are super cute! I like the splash of color and the grey coat is great for winter since you can fight the cold in a versatile color 🙂
